Our start-up year
On Wednesday, June 1st, 1988 John Spang put on his suit and tie with 50 business cards in his pocket. He canvassed the Kennesaw, Georgia business parks all day until all 50 cards were distributed. From that day’s sales calls, by Thursday we had two customers whose jobs were completed by Saturday. All this was done with just with just a small toolbox and a rental truck. Rack Men had just begun.
Kawasaki Machinery
In 1989, Rack Men moves Kawasaki Construction Loders to their next location in Marietta, Georgia. Over the years Rack Men has done numerous projects for their loyal customers now called Kawasaki Construction Machinery.
Rack Men Expands
In 1991, Rack Men moved to Holly Springs, Georgia.
We are Inc.
In 1995, Rack Men becomes Rack Men Equipment Incorporated.
New Property
In 2004, Rack Men closes on 8.39 acres of property in Cartersville, Georgia for our future warehouse site.
New Facility
In 2007, we break ground to build the current Rack Men warehouse facility from the ground up. Expert architects have conceived every aspect of the buildings design with purpose.
Reconfigure Website
In 2015, Rack Men launches new and improved mobile friendly website, featuring thorough rack education and instructional videos.
Rack Men Expands, Again!
In 2022, we built a brand new 100′ x 50′ building and expanded our existing building by 40′ x 30′. That 6,200 square foot addition allows us to stock more of the products you need. Transferring our volume discounts directly to the end user.
